NSCM

September is considered as the National Science Club Month (NSCM) under Presidential Proclamation No. 264. During the NSCM the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC) conducts activities that encourage the youth to actively participate in the science clubbing movement.

SUMMIT

The National Science Club Summit (SUMMIT) is a two-day activity open to high school science clubs affiliated with PSYSC. The activity includes lectures and workshops on science and environment, a plenary session wherein participating science clubs will elect Regional Council Officers.

A Nationwide Science Club Activity (NSCA) will be launched. It is a simultaneous event to promote the organization's campaign to mobilize science club members to Initiate Change in their schools and communities.

Math-Sci-a-Ka

The Math-Sci-a-Ka serves as a venue for the meeting of bright minds. Participants are given experiments and workshops, which test their mental prowess and physical skill. Through Math-Sci-a-Ka leartning ST&E is made fun and exciting.

BASIC

The Beginnner's Appreciation of Science Clubbing (BASIC) is a one-day activity that introduces science clubbing to elementary and high school students. It includes team building and science workshops.

This year's BASIC sites are Laguna, Pampanga, Misamis Oriental, and Albay. Separate workshops will be given for elementary and high school on Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Astronomy and Math. The workshops will let the participants experience the fun and excitement that science clubs provide.

PSYSC Science Olympiad (PSO)

The PSYSC Science Olympiad is an inter-school quiz competition for students from all over the country. It is open to elementary and high school students who are members of science clubs affiliated with PSYSC. It has two rounds: the National Eliminations and the National Finals. The eliminations will be through a written exam while the finals will be through oral and practical exam. Prizes would include cash, plaques, medals, and certificates.
